A Very Merry Christmas Table
I love a beautiful tablescape for Christmas. This is what I have pulled together this year with a few jems from years past.
The Nitty Gritty
Red and Cream Toile Plates (Home Goods), Gold Chargers (Target 2 for $3), Wine Glasses with gold lip (Big Lots 6 for $10), Table Runner (Target), Silverware (Costco)
Reindeer with gold bow (Robert’s $1.50 each), Burlap Merry Christmas Ribbon (Burlap & Denim), Sand Ultrasuede Napkins (Burlap & Denim) Red Berry Napkin Rings (Michael’s Christmas greenery) R for Richards Coasters (Michael’s 4 for $1), Pine Cone and Bow Chair decor (Burlap & Denim)
I wanted a little height with the color so I threw mini apples in each goblet. Besides, we are probably going to be drinking Martinelli’s anyway!
The tiny boxes in the vase and on the table are from my advent calendar ornaments.
I made the pine cone groupings last year to tuck in my tree, but I’m going to have to make more, I LOVE them on the chairs! I used cinnamon pine cones, painted the tips a mix of gold and silver toll paint making a nice champagne. Then I wired each one and tied them to a ribbon from a giant Costco spool.
I hope you have a Merry Christmas and a beautiful dinner table too!

Hi Amanda…I got totally sucked in to your blog over at Crafted Niche where Dana featured you! What caught my eye was your Merry Christmas Burlap Ribbon. I have a large iron & slate tile square table and wanted to do something different with it for the holidays…and this year my front door theme is burlap & bling…so this is fitting! Thanks so much for the inspiration! I have to continue on checking out your blog now! xo
Can I just say how much I LOVE your burlap Merry Christmas ribbon?! Love the Toile plates too! Lovely table!
Such a DARLING table!!! The toile plates are the pretty pretty icing on the cake. Love!
Always amazing!!!
I adore the burlap “merry christmas” ribbon. Beautifully designed table, many thanks for the inspiration.
Gorgeous! I’m loving the whole thing. I really like the pine cones on the backs of the chairs. So pretty! ….and why am I not surprised that EACH and every one of your bows is tied absolutely perfectly?
Nice work girl!
(PS… I need details on that furniture piece I spy between your table and the couch. Is it a sofa table? Desk? Looks like I see a label holder on a drawer. I’m intrigued!)
Dana, It is a desk from a Pottery Barn outlet. It has two file drawers on each side with a matching desk top. The label holders used to have labels in them, unfortunately they were quickly removed and destroyed by my toddler. I have yet to replace them. That is where I work. Right in the middle of it all. I use it as a sofa back table so I can watch Mickey Mouse with my little guy while I blog
Your table looks very festive for the holiday season! I would love to have you share this at our {Home for the Holidays} link party at The Corson Cottage
