Maybe it is my love affair with the beach, but recently I have realized I have an obsession with coconut. Eating coconut, lathering in coconut, decorating with coconut, even sniffing coconut. Here are products that I use on a way too regular basis:
A little bit waxy, but totally worth it.
Don’t you remember going to the mall and getting these delish treats? Maybe I should head over there now…hmmmm.
Oh these are waaaaaaay to addicting to make unless it is right before they will be eaten. I have foolishly made these a couple of days in advance only to end up with a hand full to take to a party, ooops.
These are indescribable perfection. After my first one, I craved it at all hours of the day, I’ve tasted a lot of coconut cakes, but this one tops them all.
Every time Justin and I go to Yogurtland, I feel like I am a part of that Sienfeld eppisode, and their yogurt is too good to be true. Do not waste your time at other frozen yogurt places, trust me people, Yogurtland is the BEST, and Toasted Coconut is a must buy…every time. I top mine with more coconut in flake form.
In keeping with the frozen coconut theme, Costco stocks these little gems. They come in a multi flavor pack, but you know the ones I go for.
Chocolate Coconut Chex Mix
This is my must have trip treat.
My favorite lotion of all time is the Victoria’s Secret Coconut Passion. It is super silky and smells like coconut. And, if you put it on your legs, it will last all day which is a must in our desert climate.
I am a huge fan of foaming hand wash, and if my budget permitted, this would be the only one available in our house.
When you snuggle your kids as much as I like to, I want them to smell clean and fresh. Once my boys have graduated from Johnson and Johnson’s Nighttime Lavender baby wash, they go straight to this cheap stuff. I’ve been buying it religiously for 11 years!
While I like a 100 spf for my face, when I want to pamper myself, this is my sunscreen. Makes me feel like I’m on vacation, even if I’m just hanging at the local water park with the kids.
I upcycled the free backpack for my son and sewed on a coconut button to add to the beachy feel.
Honestly it’s a little embarrassing when I see it all on one page! Do you have a scent/flavor that you love? Share it in a comment below!
