Four Boys and Tide Pods {Plus a $100 Visa Sweepstakes!}
When I heard that Tide was coming out with Tide Pods I couldn’t wait to try them! I did a little research on them and found out that:
- they work in either front or top loading washers (which is great, because I LOVE my front loader)
- they aren’t just a cleaner, the three sections of each Tide Pod hold A. a stain remover, B. detergent, and C. a brightener! (so no need for extra stuff in there)
- And they keep clothes smelling and looking fresh and new!
Since I am a mother of four boys, take a breath, (YES four boys) I need to be sure that the detergent I use keeps clothes looking their best! With each outfit getting a lot of wear and washes before it gets passed down to the next brother I’m very particular about my washer, dryer and especially my detergent. I have to say these Tide Pods did NOT let me down! No more filling the little containers and having it drip all over my washing machine, no more guessing how high to fill the line for that load. Just pop one Tide Pods pac into the washer and you know your clothes will come out bright, clean, and smelling fresh. And that is a lot to say for a house full of boys! Take my advice and give Tide Pods a try, you will not regret it. For more information and to purchase Tide Pods visit: http://www.tide.com/en-US/product/tide-laundry-detergent-pacs.jspx#buy

I actually use Tide pods, as a matter of fact!
I try to pre-treat any stains to keep my clothes looking good!
I spray any stains as soon as the kids take their clothes off, to keep the stain from setting. Laundry day I sort the lights and the darks and wash in cool water. If it is a nice sunny day, I dry the clothes for a few minutes to get the fuzzies out and hang dry the bigger items. I like the ideal of the pod’s, no need to pre-measure and no spills to clean up.
I pre-treat to get stains out quickly and to keep clothes looking new.
I keep my clothes looking their best by using a gentle detergent. Also, I wash my bright colors with cold water. I use the low heat setting on my dryer to reduce the shrinkage.
I pretreat my stains . I also wash in cold water. thanks for the giveaway
I’ve always been a Tide girl! Pre-treat stains and do cool water washes
I use pre-treatment and cold water. I also hang up most of our clothes to “line dry” and dry the rest on delicate.
I love oxyclean.
I pretreat, wash right away, and hang dry a lot of items. I also add about 1/4 cup Borax to each load…it keeps the laundry smelling fresh and keeps my front loader clean.
I use cold water and light cycles unless the item is really soiled to keep them looking nice

I separate them into different colors when I wash, white, dark/black and colors. It works well for me and I have my Tide Pods too.

It’s true! I’ve always noticed your family’s ‘scent’ and love it!
I love good old Borax to do the trick for my clothes
I dry on the lowest setting and air dry as much as possible. It’s easy in our dry climate because everything dries quickly.
I love Tide Pods and have been using them since they first came on the market.
I am picky with colors and separate them by darks, colors and whites. Whites I was on warm since there is no color to bleed or fade and darks and colors I wash on cold with any Tide product. Some clothes I let air dry to keep them nice and smooth and some clothes like sweatshirts just are meant to go in the drier to come out nice and toasty.
I use Tide with Bleach alternative in a front loader which uses less water and spins them so dry the clothes hardly need much time in the dryer (therefore, they last longer).
The pods work well when you are training kids to wash clothes because they don’t use too much detergent.
I use a combination of Shout to treat stains and then Tide to wash. Guess I need to try Tide Pods
It feels like I go through gallons of Shout working on grass stains.
I keep my clothes looking nice by separating colors from whites, and following laundering directions.

I have always washed clothes in cold water (unless clothing specifies) and gentle laundry detergent. Most of the time my husband likes to wash the clothes and that is a whole other story in itself.
I try to tackle stains immediately.
I keep a stain stick in the bathroom and treat any stains I find before I put clothes in the laundry. I am also careful to remove and fold them from the dryer immediately so they don’t get wrinkled.

Love the TIDE PODS – they are so convenient nd easy to use – no spills all over the place. Clean good too
I try to keep my clothes looking best by using quality detergents, washing in cold water and pre-treat stains if needed.
I let my wife do the laundry, she is really good at this. I asked her and she says get stains immediately. She uses Tide Stain remover and rolls up the clothes and let sit over night for bad stains.
She uses cold water for wash and rinse unless other wise recommended on the label.
Never overload the washer or things don’t get clean enough. Make sure the clothes are well rinsed. Don’t use a lot of detergent or might clog the washer.
I try to catch stains and treat them as soon as they happen
When I do whites, I always add a little bleach to the whites.
I wash my clothes sorted by color. I usually always use cold water, and of course Tide pods. I have tried many detergents, but keep coming back to the tried and true Tide pods. I start the washer cycle run for 5 minutes then let soak 30 minutes, and resume washing. Warm tumble dry. I turn my decal t-shirts inside out before washing. With Tide pods, i very rarely have to pre0treat my clothes.

I haven’t actually ever used the Tide Pods, but I would love to try them. Liquid detergent always gets so messy pouring it in the wash.

lol by not letting me do the laundry. I admit, i’m lazy about it. i don’t sort colors and whites..and often forget about them in the dryer.
